1 Corinthians 13: Entire Verse

This post is part of the Woman in Faith Series.

For those of you who have been following my blog from the beginning, you know I have blogged about many things including Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, our new house, pregnancy, and many other things.  For a wedding this fall I was asked to do a reading.  1 Corinthians 13 was the reading.  Since i think this is such a good part of the bible, throughout the rest of the year I am going to show you resources that I have found on the subject.

13 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecyC)’> and all knowledge,E)’> that can move mountains,G)’> and give over my body to hardship that I may boast,H)’> but do not have love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient,J)’> It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking,L)’> it keeps no record of wrongs.N)’> but rejoices with the truth.P)’>
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies,R)’> they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in partT)’> what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhoodV)’> then we shall see face to face.X)’>
13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love.
